Praise for Workshops

The lecture was outstanding–one of the best lectures of the didactic curriculum so far. The information presented on trauma was both research-based and experience driven, which allowed me to take away practical pieces of information that I will be able to use in real time. It’s not often that in a one-hour presentation I come away feeling as though my knowledge base has expanded in a way that is functional in clinical practice. I actually think another lecture on this topic that goes a step beyond in terms of treatment approaches would be awesome. Would welcome Dr. Marques back any time!

This was a fantastic lecture. The lecturer was concise, practical, informative, evidence based, and clinically informed. I really appreciated the tools that she gave us for addressing this very difficult topic with patients. I left the lecture feeling more confident that I could more empathically and accurately take a trauma history. Kudos to such a great and needed lecture

One of the best didactics we have had. Her style of presenting evidence based and practical clinically relevant information about trauma and how to work with patients with trauma- giving specific examples and advice- was excellent.

A great intro to trauma talk! Should definitely be kept in the curriculum. Would love to have her give a series of lectures where we actually learn more about the nuts and bolts of working with trauma patients (like, how to do the different therapies) as opposed to just the theories, but was still a great intro.
